Anatomical illustrations are my specialty and passion. I thrive on revisiting and reinventing new ways to depict the human body. While a heart is always a heart, there are countless ways to illustrate it. I meticulously draw figures from photographic references to ensure natural, lifelike results. You won't find AI or 3D-generated images here. With a deep understanding of anatomy and proportion, I strive for accuracy in every detail.

Explore a selection of disease and pathological illustrations. Depicting disease can be challenging—how do you visualize pain or dysregulation? The aim of an illustrator is to convey these conditions visually, telling the story without words. Through careful clues and context, viewers should be able to understand what is wrong with the body part, structure, or cell.

Sketches and Mockups

A detailed sketch is crucial for setting the direction of a piece, though sometimes a loose sketch suffices. An artist who can visualize the final outcome early on can guide the project to successful completion with ease. Here are examples of how initial ideas develop into finished works. Surgical Illustrations

Surgical Illustrations is a showcase of over a decade's worth of artwork created for various publications, including Wolters Kluwer Health and McGraw Hill. My work features a range of styles, from clearly defined anatomical depictions to realistic surgeon perspectives, and simplified illustrations designed for clarity and retention. Specializing in surgical illustrations, I have produced numerous works in this field and enjoy the challenges of innovative and dififcult techniques.

Vector artwork features crisp, path-based linework, offering clarity and precision unlike pixel-based renderings. By utilizing strokes and paths, vector art creates beautifully detailed designs that stand out for their sharpness and elegance. Whether simple or intricate, my vector artwork exemplifies the precision and artistry of my work.
